Wow, I had never seen this before - but it's great! I wish you could sort the tweets by team, though. Sometimes I don't want to wade through to find the Redskins.

I don't foresee much change to this technology until it becomes BIG. You said it, and Zettler said it, you FOUND it... I think ESPN will likely continue to be the best source for play by play analysis, and papers like the Post will keep the bare essentials for loyal Post online readers/skins fans. Not to mention, only Redskins fans would care about 99% of these plays, meanwhile ESPN can choose from all 16 games a week for the best plays to analyze. Sports reporting is an interesting beast in and of itself too; they are constantly looking for new ways to present the same old sports... and I would personally be afraid of becoming jaded toward sports if I made my career in reporting it...

Do you know how long this has been up? I imagine this is in its earlier iteration phase....at least that's the hope. This really is a cool feature. I find it really hard to believe that it won't get better though. Great find.

I'm not a super Dan Brown fan, but I am an avid reader and I do think his last two books were very well-written and compelling. I've been wanting to read "The Lost Symbol," so this posting was really helpful. I think the interactive map is really cool and appealing to tourists and DC-natives, who can feel a sense of pride in their historical attractions. I really love the WaPo article. It was a fun read to match its nutty actions. All-in-all, a creative idea and a fun and light way to inspire some non-DB and DB fans, alike.

I'm not a big sports fan. Actually, the only sport I follow is baseball (Go, Angels!) But reading your blog has inspired me to do some more Washington Post online sports reading. I agree, not all TV commentators can write good columns. I like your analysis and critique of rehashing old content instead of new and innovative ideas. However, I do think the idea of live chat is pretty cool, especially if you're a fan of that commentator. I do want to know what you would do if you worked at the Post? How would you prevent patheticness, Ben Giles?

That was a very intriguing article Ben. I'm not sure how President Obama musters enough energy to go to all the events he does! It's pretty amazing.
